Position Description: We are now seeking an Electrical Design Engineer.

Job description:

This position reports to the Engineering Manager. This position will have primary responsibility for assuming design engineering responsibility for major phases of engineering activity and initiate actins necessary to maintain those programs. Additional responsibilities include overseeing design of new components/redesigned components to improve quality, function, performance, and reliability while maintaining cost objectives; approving test results to ensure they meet requirements of manufacturing processes and assembly; and more specifically identifying and resolving the software and potential hardware problems on appliance controls; willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically and globally. Company is seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer who is looking for an exciting challenge. Skills required & Qualifications:

A four year degree in Electrical Engineering or related physical sciences or an equivalent education from a fully accredited school is required. You should have a minimum of 3 years relevant design experience and high volume manufacturing experience is a plus. You should have experience with specification and qualification of electronic components as well as experience with hardware design and programming. You should have solid influential communication, organizational, project management, presentation, and customer service skills. You should have the ability to lead change, the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and experience with Microsoft Office products.
