*Establish project development schedules from concept to product implementation for motorcycle line. *Establish reasonable part and tool costs and monitor the costs throughout the project development phase. *Coordinate the development, layout, testing, drafting, and fabrication to ensure project objectives are met according to schedule. *Establish project priorities for project staff. *Participate in design reviews on all projects to ensure adequate input and involvement from all groups within engineering and manufacturing *Analyze field problems and recommend solutions. *Participate in preparation of monthly project status reports *Coordinate sales to OEM customers, resolve customer problems, and ensure shipment of products as scheduled *Represent the company at engineering/legal standards conformance meetings. *Prepare records searches, depositions, and site and vehicle examination reports. *Perform other miscellaneous project related assignments. Education & Experience Requirements:
*Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering and three years of experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer *Or a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering and five years of progressive experience as a Design Engineer or Mechnical Design Engineer. Specific skills and other requirements: Experience must include working in motorcycle design engineering.
