The Design Engineer is responsible for the engineering and design of components and products in the categories of lawn and garden equipment. A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required. Experience using Pro-Engineer CAD system and a strong knowledge of plastic injection molding, powdered metal processing, electric motor application and machining practice are preferred. Experience in mechanical design of high volume products would be a plus.
