A world-class manufacturer of industrial Material Handling equipment is currently seeking a Director-Product Development.
The incumbent will direct new product development programs , including global development programs. Manage project schedules, costs, and personnel by overseeing the engineering design and analysis necessary for development of new product platforms, systems and components. The incumbent will also support Marketing, Service and Manufacturing operations to improve product performance and reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. MS or BS in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Physics.
2. At least 10 years experience in capital equipment design preferably in the mobile equipment industry (platform development, weldments, hydraulics, electrical and/or mechanisms).
3. Experience managing new product design and introductions through the effective supervision of a Design Engineering group.
4. Oversee product development with support of continuing engineering and special engineering design.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills
