Position Description: Located in PA, this position performs professional technical work which requires knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, theories and concepts to complete assignments dealing with the detailed design, development and implementation of test strategies and test techniques for electronic assemblies and subassemblies under direct technical supervision. Specifically, requires knowlege of digital, analog, and RF technologies for electronic warfare product line. Mechanical skills (CAD) and experience with electrical schematics is also required. Relevant internship within similar environment coupled with classwork and project topics within this field of study is strongly preferred. As is an active security clearance to the Secret level.

Broadly, this position performs professional technical assignments of an investigatory, design or test nature requiring limited analysis and evaluation, selection and application of basic engineering principles, theories and techniques which directly apply to the design, development and application of test strategies for components, circuits, subassemblies, assemblies within company products.
Participates in the investigation, analysis, design, and development of test requirements as well as the design, development and implementation of the basic test strategy in support of: assembly and subassembly level Built-In-Test, acceptance and performance test methodologies, field and factory test requirements.
Receives directions and instructions in the form of assignment objectives, alternative approaches and solutions from supervisor or senior engineering personnel.
Works from specific assignments from supervisor or senior engineering personnel which may include the design and development of test strategies, compilation of data for research investigation by study groups, analysis of test and/or design data.
Instructs and directs the work of technicians, if assigned.
Prepares charts, diagrams, graphs and reports expressing technical progress and accomplishments measured against specific plans.
Begins to develop areas of specialization and maintains cognizance of scientific and technological developments in field.

Must have the following:

BSEE from an accredited college or university or its equivalent. This is an entry level position usually encompassing the first two (2) years of professional work. Relevant work experience or coursework in digital, analog and RF Experience in CAD and/or reading electrical schematics Active DOD issued security clearance to Secret level
